This company is looking for a Director of Sales in the Charlottesville, Virginia area. Successful candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, with a proven track record in sales/sales management (online advertising or other apartment industry products/services preferred, but not required), excellent presentation skills, a passion for sales, and leading a team to excel. As the senior sales professional, you will be in charge of all sales activities and personnel involved in sales. You will provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals. Additionally, you will be responsible to develop and/or maintain and improve business relations with all customers of the company. Other tasks include seeking out new customers, new sales opportunities and initiating an action plan to approach and secure new business. Further, analyzing sales statistics to identify and implement business growth strategies and participating with the senior staff/leadership in the development of the strategic plan. You will be responsible to establish performance goals for sales, monitor performance on a continual basis along with overseeing all hiring, training of personnel involved in sales and marketing. This role entails coordinating sales operations with all other departments/divisions while having senior responsibility for all trade accounts, receivables and monitoring A/R aging on a proactive basis with his/her personnel in order to coordinate with accounting manager. Regional travel is required to cover multiple geographic markets (up to 60%). Company offers a strong compensation including base + commission. Please send resume to recruiter@powerhour.com
