Seeking PM President, 180-200K

Regarding below, would you know an industry leader who would be a perfect fit for this President position?

The best/ideal candidate can have property management experience and/or be an industry vendor/supplier who has sold their products/services to property management companies.

Our client is seeking a President to oversee a 100-member association of leading property management companies who are focused on smart buying strategies for their members.

Do you have:

#1. A passion for helping 100 property management members [with 200,000+ rental units/apartments] of this unique association, save money on their buying of industry products/services? For example, paint, carpet, etc.

#2. The professional experience with a dual reporting structure that necessitates reporting to, working closely with and collaborating with a Board of Directors as well as senior executives at member organizations?

#3. The business expertise to regularly update management and the association Board regarding business processes, operating plans, financial modeling and profitability, managing P&L statements, forecasting, budgetary planning, overseeing pricing structures, gross margins and profitability metrics?

#4. The ability to collaborate with the marketing team to develop positioning messages and sales tools?

#5. The understanding for how to accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams, provide quarterly result assessments of their internal sales staff’s productivity, manage regular meetings with their internal sales team, both as a group and 1:1 to review key performance metrics and improve sales performance plus consistently drive the team’s ability to meet and exceed individual and team quotas?

#6. The knowledge to oversee the contract with their 3rd party procurement operations services provider to manage costs closely, to ensure timely orders and acceptable service levels, plus provide a link between association members and the 3rd party operations team to develop services and product offerings to support business growth from the association members?

Desired Candidate Profile/Qualifications/Eligibility:

==>> MBA (Marketing & Sales) desired and/or equivalent work experience, with 10‐15 + years of outside sales management experience and demonstrated levels of performance and/or 10-15+ years of experience in a property management leadership position

==>> Experience scaling a business from start-up phase to $20 million in revenue

==>> Highly entrepreneurial and results-oriented

==>> Collaborative by nature and sensitive to the unique culture of association members

==>> Working knowledge of the procurement space

==>> Outstanding leadership/managerial and tactical execution skills

==>> Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation skills

==>> Proven and quantifiable track record of delivering strong sales results and profitable growth

==>> High level proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word required

==>> Some travel required

==>> Benefits package is available

==>> Ideal candidate would live in Boston/MA, Washington/DC or Raleigh/NC but those who are the right/perfect fit and live in other cities, will be strongly considered

==>> Compensation is in the range of 180-200K
